Hi, Can anyone help me? I'm going around in circles with Ebay. Someone from another state won my auction, despite the fact that it was clearly stated in the listing that it was 'Local pick-up only'. They now think I should just post the item anyway. I haven't asked for any payment, and they haven't paid me. I have tried to explain to the buyer that I won't post the item [it is large and bulky - which is why I chose 'local pick-up' in the first place], but the buyer has suggested that: (A) I should just ship it anyway. & (B) It can't have been clearly listed or they wouldn't have bid in the first place. I think this is very unfair, especially as I declined other requests to ship the item, from other potential buyers, PRIOR to the auction ending. Ebay seem to be suggesting that it is completely up to me to negotiate with the buyer. Can't the transaction just be cancelled? If the buyer was ineligible to bid, then surely the sale is not valid. Then what about feedback? Can the buyer leave me negative feedback out of spite?
