My list of things I don't understand ~ feel free to add to it

3/07/2009 23:56
People who dye their black hair blonde and then not bothering to get the re-growth done.

Women who buy a pair of jeans or pants with the leg length too long and they don't bother to take them up - they wear the jeans/pants with the bottom of the pant leg dragging on the ground and it ends up dirty and torn and it looks terrible.

Not sure if this is a new child's fashion but I've seen quite a few young girls (By young I'm talking 7 to 10 year olds) with their skirts down so far that you can see their butt crack ~ it is gross and no matter how you look at it - it's wrong!

Older men - retirement age - who wear track suit pants, with dress shoes, and a long sleeved business tucked into their tracky pants.

I'm feeling a lot better thanks.

The antibiotics seem to have kicked in so I'm on the improve.

I still have to see my GP tomorrow because I haven't had my (necessary) 4 weekly blood tests for months.
i just got so sick of doctors and never ending blood tests I just stopped doing it.

Once I have the tests done and know, in particular, that the white cells are ok then I will really have peace of mind.

I have always been told that a sore throat should never be ignored (it is usually the first sign that something is starting to go wrong) but I ignored it for 2 weeks. I know it was silly and I should never have ended up in the state I was in last night.

(I should point out that the sore throat thing is for me personally not anyone and everyone. Something to do with my immune system being suppressed.)

teenagers - my boy was just the nicest person and then he turned 18 and it really seems like aliens abducted him. I am so shocked at the change, I am not coping at all.

:O so is it the sleeves that are the issue, or the whole see through outfit.. wtf, now I'm really confused! :^O

Yup, I was pretty smug when yogi bet boo to a snipe. :^O :^O :^O PMSL

I can't handle the newspaper at WORK going into the men's loos for a "sit," then making it's way back onto the communal kitchen table to be read.... "yweerrrrk" what's with that?

I dont understand why people have children and then work full time from 6 weks old and put them into fulltime daycare from 6 am to 6.30 pm,then get grandma to pick up the kids so they can go out to dinner .And then get grandma to mind them on the weekend so they can still have a social life. And then when they have holidays keep the kids at fulltime daycare so they can have time to themselves and then when they go on holidays, leave the kids with someone else.

I dont get grandparents who allow their kids to treat them like this.

I also have a friend who relies heavily on the grandparents to look after her kids. She doesnt need to work, in fact I'm pretty sure she only works to get away from the kids.

And I know for a fact that her parents are sick of having them so often, but are obviously too scared to say no or confront her about it.
