My list of things I don't understand ~ feel free to add to it

3/07/2009 23:56
People who dye their black hair blonde and then not bothering to get the re-growth done.

Women who buy a pair of jeans or pants with the leg length too long and they don't bother to take them up - they wear the jeans/pants with the bottom of the pant leg dragging on the ground and it ends up dirty and torn and it looks terrible.

Not sure if this is a new child's fashion but I've seen quite a few young girls (By young I'm talking 7 to 10 year olds) with their skirts down so far that you can see their butt crack ~ it is gross and no matter how you look at it - it's wrong!

Older men - retirement age - who wear track suit pants, with dress shoes, and a long sleeved business tucked into their tracky pants.

calf-hig boots of over weight gals that are too tight and there is spillage... i.e a muffin top over the top of their boots!

it must be so uncomfortable

saw colleague yesterday with this..... nlack belw the knee pants. brown calf-high boots... (bad enough combo) but then there was all this very pale dimpled flesh oozing over the top of the boots

it looked like the boots were rubbing something fierce on her calves. ouch!

Young men with underwear showing get really embarrassed if you lean in close and whisper that everyone can see their skid marks.

why don't people use bobby pins or hair clips instead of constantly flicking the hair off their face?

It is really annoying to be talking to someone that is an every 3 seconds flicker.

Why don't people shoo the flies off their face when being interviewed on the nightly news?

Why do people always have to be interviewed outside regardless of the weather?

Why do old women always have to appear on TV in their dressing gown?

Why doesn't Eddie McGuire keep quiet when a contestant is giving an answer?

Why does my printer play up if I have a mouse plugged into the usb slot next to the printer usb slot??

Where do rainbows finish(or start)???

Do rainbows go from left to right or right to left?

Why does my dog look up at birds but not helicopters or planes?

How can a person go from being alive to dead right before your eyes but nothing changed in that moment?

Language experts have said that as there is no collective term for you 'youse' is a perfectly acceptable use of language to replace thee, thou etc. It will be coming to a dictionary near you. Hey, I think it's a 'common' term too but you can't fight it

I don't understand why middle aged women who think they are 'hot' wear tops with really really low cleavages. I worked with a woman who wore them so low you could almost see her nipples and she was very well endowed. I used to be embarrassed to go to meetings with her. Even in winter the tops would be tiny and she would be flailing them around. So embarrassing.

Low cleavages are even worse when the cleavage is a Nile Delta of deep wrinkles.

My 'why' is why do men in middle and old age insist on wearing tiny shorts? Wish they wouldn't

I dislike the clevage thing too but I do find a lot of tops these days are too low cut at the neck and I show a lot more than I really want to.

I have about 5 pieces of material in different colours and I pin a piece to my bra straps at the front so that when I put the top on there is about 8cm of fabric above the neckline.

I don't know why I use the word neckline, it really is more like a nipple line.

Shew I don't know about the tennis, I have been looking at free knitting patterns on the net all night and am now falling asleep at my computer so I'm unable to make a sensible call on the tennis.

I drop in here every now and then just to give my brain a rest from the knitting patterns.

I have just finished my hot chocolate so its good night from me.
