He makes a good wage, with stock options (when I worked a real job...it all went to Miss's college fund). We pick our indulgences carefully. And, they are just that. indulgences. Mortgage is paid. Utilities paid. Groceries paid. Bills paid. If there is any left over, we may choose to treat ourselves. I make my own artwork, but to create it (paint, canvases, frames, brushes, etc.) costs a pretty penny, to be sure. Folks that complain after buying petty stuff ...and then can't afford the basics really gets my knickers in a bunch [cue phone call from my sis asking to borrow money]
