I worked in the trade for over 20 years and in My time I have seen a lot of cars that have been deemed by the insurer as a ROW, In Queensland all cars that are On the REg as a ROW have to be repaired to a road worthy standard, they then have to go through a fill inspection By QIS which is an independent testing department Before they can be reregistered, It is NOT one the repairer to offer full discloser as to if the car has been repaired, Only to provide a vehicle that is up-to full road with standard. You would be well advised if you have any concerns about any car you intend to purchase that you have it checked by a professional. Their is no need to stare away from a car that has had repairs when carried out right, I would say further that 80% of cars over 12 month old would have had some sort of repair in its life, Insurance company's Right cars off none structural damage because of the cost of parts /Lab/and paint and when you buy a new car now days most insures will offer you a New Car in the first two years.... One eye opener is for you to go to a damaged Vehicle auction and you can see for your self that a lot of the cars up for auction have very little damage... Just protect your self if you want a car that has never been damaged repaired then Buy Brand New.

I think its known as "buyer beware."

I don't think anyone is required to disclose anything. Yet at the same time they cant deliberately mislead to you. If you ask a question they cant lie.

I guess here on line this is good as using email there is a record of questions and answers.

But all that said.

If I was about to had over say $5,000 for a vehicle and then discovered it was not as I was told. I would keep my money. Even if that meant I would loose my eBay account, surly its not worth $5,000. Well its not in my eyes.
