Come along and chat with the eBay team about the recently intoduced changes on eBay.com.au including 'Best Match' and Store Packages & fees.

This workshop is essentially an online question and answer session held in real time allowing eBay members to seek further insight, information or clarity from eBay staff.

Hi
Can you tell me why were we told before Best Match to make sure our listing titles contained relevant key words and our items were listed in the correct categories.

Why was it not pointed out that by making the most minor change to a listing title BEFORE Best Match all history on that item would be lost and best match was being sorted mainly by past history.

If two eBay account are linked, with one account suffering poor DSR's, will the second account be affected in best match?

Hi, is there likely to be a reduced listing fee for media items i.e. books, cd's, dvd's etc.? The current fees for items selling at an average of $5.00 is making the whole eBay experience a waste of time.

Why do the show up so far down the list?

Hello sparebucks,

No. If you have two accounts linked, DSR's from one account will not impact how listings from the other account as sorted in Best Match.

Store sellers basic subscription fees increased from $14.95 to $19.95
Can you tell me what percentage increase that is please?

Basic store sellers listing fees per item increased from 10c to 40c for items 19.99 and under.
Can you tell me what percentage increase that is please?

Hi Michelle,

One question that i get various answer from ebay live help is:

When I list 10 items with GTC BIN, at the 2nd page of 'sell your item form' it cost me $0.30 (i have featured store). But the live help people says the cost will be $0.30 x 10 items that means i have to pay $3 for that listing.

Another rep says eventhough i put down 100 items the insertion
fee will still be $0.30.

Please clarify.

I'm sorry if you took that interpretation out of our messaging.

Relevant titles have always been and will continue to be important. If your title was working well before the changes then there was no need to change it.

We did tell alert people to this in the FAQs in the information hub.

Hello magpiesyear

Having an Anchor package does not override all other searches in Best Match. Anchor packages enables you to take benefit of the lowest insertion and final value fees at a higher subscription fee. It has no impact on search
